Goliath Grouper

A 500-pound reef behemoth that inhales entire tarpon whole and occasionally startles divers into heart attacks.
The Goliath Grouper is the undisputed titan of Leonida's reef systems, reaching 800 pounds and living for up to 50 years. Their ambush strikes can inhale a tarpon whole, and their low, booming calls are felt more than heard by divers in the water with them. Harvest is strictly prohibited.
